Nicole is a recent graduate from the University of Toronto's Master of Landscape Architecture program, and has undergraduate degrees in Geography and Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University. Her background has inspired her to explore the relationship between public infrastructure and community health, approaching design through the lens of scientific research and knowledge. Originally from British Columbia, Nicole has always had a keen interest in using landscape architecture to address environmental issues faced in her home province, including rising sea levels, and forest fire mitigation in the Okanagan – the topic of her Master’s thesis. During her MLA program, Nicole also gained practical experience through various internships at notable firms including Reed Hilderbrand, working on project ranging in scale from public institutional projects to large and small scale private residential projects. In 2026, she ventured to the Atlantic Coast, and is looking forward to exploring a new Canadian Landscape, and helping to meet the community’s needs with beautiful and intentional design.
