Carter Malco
(Student Intern)
From a young age, Carter has been fascinated by the architecture and environment of his home town of Saint John, New Brunswick. Carter’s appreciation for architecture and design, as well as for the breathtaking views and ecosystems of Atlantic Canada’s coastline, sparked an interest in how buildings are integrated with their surroundings, and inspired him to pursue the field of architecture and design. Carter began his journey in 2024 while attending Harbour View High School, when he completed a co-op term at Brackish. During his co-op placement, Carter received an introduction to landscape architecture while expanding his understanding of the design disciplines in general, and how they work together. After graduating, Carter returned to Brackish for a summer internship. Carter has completed his first year at Dalhousie University, where he is working towards a Bachelor in Community Design.
Carter has been heavily involved in campus and community life throughout secondary and post-secondary school, participating in Climate Action groups, sports, and Leadership Academy, each of which has fostered a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration, which Carter carries through all of his work at Brackish.
